Hello
Your raptor is almost certainly a carnivore I'm afraid. Any attempts to force a vegetarian diet will result in increased fractiousness, and a rather unpleasant flatulence (definitely avoid sprouts). You can feed dead meat, but your raptor does love the thrill of the chase, and will try to bring home little presents for you, don't be surprised to find the odd Rottweiller on your doorstep. The old pussy cat trick of fitting a bell, does give his prey a bit more of a chance. To help abate his desire to run down everything he sees moving, you might be able to enter a mutually beneficial alliance with a greyhound trainer. A following raptor is so much more incentive to the dogs, than a preceding hare - they have so much fun thier eyes nearly pop out - what a spectacle.
Hope you enjoy your new pets talents.
Dudley
